Pets Dress for Success and Socializing

Pets and their families are invited to a day out and a costume contest just for them on October 2 from 11AM-3PM.  During the 2011 Fall Pet Expo and Howl-oween Dog Costume Contest, presented by Bubbles and Bows, pets will be able to enjoy the common areas of The Shops at Ithaca Mall, except the Food Court, and meet other pets.  There will be a free Pet Expo raffle in the afternoon.  In addition, the first 300 pets and their owners to attend the Pet Expo will receive a complementary gift bag.

The Howl-oween Dog Costume Contest will be held at 2 PM with judging classes Small Dog, Medium and Large Dog and Other Pet.  Costume categories will include Funniest, Scariest and Most Original, with one winner chosen for each category from each class.  Each winner will each receive a prize basket from Bubbles and Bows.  One winner will be selected from all entries to receive the ‘Best Dressed’ grand prize.  Those wishing to enter the costume contest can complete the entry form in ‘Pet Expo’ found at www.theshopsatithacamall.com or call (607)257-5337 for entry assistance.  Prizes will be donated by Bubbles and Bows, and costume judges will be volunteers of the SPCA.
