Pets Promenade at The Shops at Ithaca Mall

Pets and their owners are invited to a day of fun, pageantry, prizes and valuable information as The Shops at Ithaca Mall and Cayuga Radio Group present the 2010 Pet Expo on April 17th from 10AM-5PM.  Well-behaved domestic animals in pet-carriers or on leashes (no more than 6 feet long) are welcome to enjoy the day in the main halls of the Mall with their owners.  The highlights of the day will be the afternoon pet pageant hosted by Buggzees, and the afternoon raffle.  Raffle prizes will include: a gift certificate for a Basic Level Optimum Wellness Plan from Banfield Pet Hospital, a gift certificate for a free General Practice Exam from Colonial Veterinary Hospital, and gift baskets from Regal Cinemas that include free movie tickets.  Pet owners can register for the pageant before or on that day, and can sign up for the raffle on that day. 

Pets and owners can socialize with other pets and animal friends, and owners can get to know local organizations like the SPCA and Gorges Greyhounds greyhound-rescue.  Local businesses like Buggzees, Pampered Pets, Pawsitively Fun Training Center, Invisible Fence of the Southern Tier, Borders, the Wellness Center for Pets and Four Paws, Four Directions will be available to help owners improve their pets’ lives with accessories, education, healthcare and safety-aids.  Adding to the fun will be Brian from Lite Rock 97.3, broadcasting live from the Mall.    To register for the pageant, and for more information visit www.TheShopsatIthacaMall.com.
