PYRAMID MALL ITHACA ANNOUNCES NEW LEASING AGENT

(June 18, 2007- Ithaca, NY) Triax Management Group, owners of the Pyramid Mall Ithaca, announces that Olympus LMD, a Syracuse, NY based company, is the new leasing agent for the shopping center.

Olympus LMD is headed by Steve Scaramuzzino, who began his career in 1993 in the Leasing Department of the Pyramid Companies, one of the top shopping center developers in the Northeast. During his six years with the company, he was consistently one of the top producing Leasing Representatives on an annual basis. He managed the Specialty Leasing Department at Crossgates Mall, a 1.5 million square foot super regional shopping center in Albany, NY. Under his direction, Crossgates Mall became the first center in the Pyramid portfolio to achieve $1,000,000 in specialty income in a calendar year.

From 1999-2004, Scaramuzzino worked for the Wilmorite Companies, who owned and operated 15 enclosed shopping centers in the Northeast, including Danbury Fair Mall, Freehold Mall, Eastview Mall and Tysons Corner. During his five years at Wilmorite, Steve led the leasing organization in deals completed, annual retail income and square footage leased several times during his tenure.

At both Pyramid and Wilmorite, he worked with some of the most recognizable and desired tenants in the industry, including Ann Taylor, JCrew, H&M, Esprit, Nine West, PacSun and Aeropostale. 

In 2004, Scaramuzziono moved on to the Cameron Group to start a Tenant Representation business, as well as becoming Director of Leasing for the Cameron Group’s portfolio. While at Cameron, he participated in the leasing of several shopping centers, including Fingerlakes Mall, Fingerlakes Crossing, The Mall at Whitney Field, Aspen Dental Plazas, The Orchard and Bayonne Crossing. He also developed a 26,000 square foot lifestyle center at The Orchard in New Hartford, NY with Ann Taylor Loft, Chico’s, Coldwater Creek, Christopher & Banks, CJ Banks and Make & Take Gourmet. In addition to his leasing duties, he also represented the following tenants: Deb Shops, Ashley Stewart, Motherhood, Fitness Forum, Belini’s and Cuppy’s Coffee.
